Angelica Panganiban was born in the Philippines and is now a Filipino American performer and comedian as well as host on television and model. She went septic and experienced multiple organ failure, including her kidneys, which failed to recover. Her life became a new regimen of hemodialysis, followed by the peritoneal dilation. After an 80-day hospital stay Angelica appeared to be dying but was on the road towards recuperation. Angelica's life was forever transformed after she was diagnosed with dialysis of the kidney. The donor kidney would come from none other than her mom. On September 13 2013 Angelica and her mom went through an operation to transplant their kidneys at two amazing hospitals located across the street from each other-Emory University Hospital and Children's Hospital of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of becoming a celebrity for years after.
