MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global inroads into the Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. The album he released as his debut ADN was issued by La Industria Inc., which is a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. The album reached number 8 in the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca was A Top Five hit for Ozuna and him in the following year. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel on Mala Influencia and debuted the album Dopamina within the year following. In 2021, he also performed in a duet with TINI's stream popular track Maldita Foto. In 2023, 2000 with the cult hit La Bachata was released. His mother and brother were musicians when he was born. According to Turizo, music is a vital aspect of his daily life. As a child, he was instructed to play the saxophone, piano and guitar. While his initial goal was becoming a veterinarian, his brother Julian got him to attend singing lessons from an instructor in Cuban.
