Garfield's career began in the theatre, and he began his television career by starring in Sugar Rush in 2005. His film debut was Mumbojumbo. In 2010, Garfield gained notoriety for his character in The Social Network. He then portrayed Spider-Man, the beloved character from the latest film version of the show directed by Marc Webb. Ben is his elder brother. He's the father of American Richard Garfield & British Lynn Hillman. In the year 2003, the family moved from the United States to Surrey England. From an early age his first acting lessons began and was a part of various school productions. The actor made his first foray into theater at the Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
